Eastern NC here.

I live in New Bern, NC on the coast. we have alot of big bears and a good whitail herd in our area. the bucks don't get very big here. Dog hunting is aloud and most guys aren't into trophy management. I own 3 of Ricks Bows and I really had'nt had the desire to shoot anything else since I got the first. I have been playing around in my shop and built a glass lam longbow. It turned out really good and it's fun to shoot something you made yourself.

I'm glad to see Rick getting the press that he 's due, and the growing intrest in his bows. Good luck and good shooting. Don Batten.

Welcome brotha, & congrats on making your bow. I'm going to speak freely, since this is OUR forum. Since I've got to know Rick and his family, I've developed a tremendous amount of respect for these kind folks. Additionally, I've learned of some stuff that plain ole bull crap, & I'm doing something about it! So yep, he's way overdue & very deserving of honest, positive exposure, but there's much work left to be done.
