Rick, what is your opinion on anchoring the large knuckle at the base of the thumb on your ear lobe as opposed to anchoring the first thumb joint behind the thumb nail on the ear lobe? Thanks. Question

You can anchor that way, the way I do it keeps the string off my face also if I put my hand tight agains my face it makes me think about getting my fingers off the string and makes me pull my hand away on release an makes other things move as well like pulling your head away at the point of release, once one thing moves everything moves.
