Hi All,

My name is Ben and I'm a bowaholic. I look forward to jumping in with both feet and maybe learn a little along the way. When time permits I would love to make Mr Welch's school. I started shooting 3D with traditional equipment this year and I love it. I've been very fortunate to meet a couple local shooters that have really helped me out and I would love to take it to the next level.

I love Stu's Calculator and OL Adcock's tuning sites, I have found both to be very helpful. I shoot everyday, I had knee surgery yesterday and I've shot a dozen arrows this morning. I love to shoot and always have. Although I just started traditional a couple years ago, I have shot compounds all of my grownup life, I did have a Bear Longbow when I was a kid thru my teens.

I made a selfbow back in March and it is one of my favorite bows. I won my first buckle with it last week, I don't mean to brag I am just very proud that I won with a bow that I built. I guess I love all of my bows. For the first time since I started traditional, I'm not looking to upgrade I'm actually content with the stable. My wife reminds me that I've mentioned that to her from time to time, LOL...

I hope to get to know you guys and gals in the future. Thanks in advance for your help. I will help anyone anytime that I can, if I don't know the answer I'll never blow smoke. Please don't be shy about asking me a question, I will have plenty of questions. If I ever post something that you do not agree with please say something so I can see the other side of the picture. Have a great day and God Bless!!!

PS... My disclaimer, I'm on pain meds but I truly do not feel impaired (remember knee surgery yesterday)

I'm a convert like you, Many years of compound shooting and jumped to a recurve a few months ago. Hope you enjoy this forum as much as I have. You'll find alot of helpful folks and info on here. Who knows, maybe we can halp each other out from time to time with shooting issues.
