Hi all !! I'm starting this one for everyone to share little hidden gems that might help each other in some way while we're out ther in the field.
Here's one that has bailed me out a few times. I learned this from my wife's Grandfather who made his living as a guide and outfitter.
He told me to always keep a bottle of Hydrogen Pyroxide with a pump spray lid in my pack. 1, if you kill an animal and have to process it, you may cut yourself. Accidents happen ! 2, If the blood trail gets sparse and hard to find, the pyroxide will foam up on deer blood too. Spray a little around on the ground and look for foamy spots. This works !! And it has helped me find a wounded animal on a couple of occasions.
