Hello, I ran across this forum last night and logged in. Cool site and idea.

About me... My name is David Chronister from Dardanelle,AR thats about 1.5 hours from where Rick does the school.Well I was lucky enough to attend Rick's shooting school in april 2009. I have shot recuves and longbows for about 14 -15 years now and for about the last 3-4 years have hunted with with nothing but selfbows of my own makin. If I remember right Rick told me I was the second person to take the school shooting a selfbow. It was best thing I have done to improve my shooting, and my confidence has gone way up, maybe to much. At least now when I miss I know what I did or did not do to cause the bad shot most of the time. The good thing is the bad shots are getting to be fewer, not saying I don't have bad days shooting just not as often.

I'm pretty content shooting my selfbows, but after shooting some of Rick's bows at the class it sure planted a big seed to get a new Dakota recurve.
