I shoot a custom made 62" longbow. It is 53# @28". I just recently ordered some GoldTip traditional 3555 due to the 5575 not flying correctly adn seemed over spined. I have been shooting beman ics 400 spine arrow with 200 grain broadheads and field points.

I have had much success with GT arrows in the past and have returned to them. My question is with the 3555 left at full length (around 30.5") with a 200 grain head will this fly true or should I shoot a lighter or heavier point ? Bow is used for hunting and 3d archery tournaments.

Thanks,
Macon

I can only respond with a few questions of my own. What is your draw length ? I'm assuming you bare shaft tested with this set-up? How does the arrow impact the target ? I've been working with high FOC for a bit now but my set up is a bit different than yours. Try www.tradbow.com I've found it to be very helpful with this stuff.

Jmo, seems like with 200 gr head @ 30.5" it will be a weak spine.
