| Bocote, birdseye maple, & ebony, I think. I told him I trusted his judgement, whatever he thought would look good & whenever it was done was fine with me. I've got two others so I wasn't in any kind of hurry. Tell me about what he's making you. | |

I shot his son Dakota's bow while I was there and fell in love with it.
I had to have one
I really love longbows though so I see one in the future.LOL

| I was thinking of orderng a bow, just wondering how long they take to make. Also I am only about an hour east of little rock, could I come over and look at some before I order one to be sure of what I want. | |

| Give Rick a call. I would think you could POSSIBLY schedule to meet him @ the shooting schol, in Conway AR. You could maybe get setup to one of his light bows & shoot a few targets. That will really show you what his bows can do. Give Rick a call. tell him I sent you about test driving a bow in person, before ordering. Keep in touch. Btw, do you Facebook? Look me up Dave Mullins wv. | |

| Got a 64" Dakota Pro TD longbow from Rick when he came to Canada Ontario to my Rendezvous. It is all Bacote. Once tuned in it is a pleasure to shoot. I recently got a black widow recurve and it has been on the shelf since I got the Dakota Pro. By the way I call it "Spirit Walker" Complete with bow quiver on tied on feather, deer antler knobs and white and yellow fletching. What a beauty. It just keeps calling to me to pick it up and hold it. It is every thing Rick says. I tried his son's when I was down at his school so I was not surprised. It is worth the wait. Hey his school is worth the time and effort too. Had Rick stay here after the rendezvous to teach for a week. It was a pleasure on all fronts. Fred Walker | |
